The weekend long community festival known as Community Days enables local organizations to raise funds and also brings the community closer together. Community Days includes the street carnival, live bands all weekend, 50/50 drawings, dodgeball tournament, lots of food, drinks, games, rides, free pony rides, parades and more. It's a weekend of fun you don't want to miss!

Join us Wednesday, May 27th for the Growing Community in Faith - Worship Night Under The Tent! Growing Community in Faith has partnered with Kids Coalition Against Hunger and has two packing times set up to pack food for those in need. The packing will take place in the JC Firehouse with the first packing from 3:30 - 4:45 pm and the second packing is from 5:00 - 6:15 pm. The food that is packed supports the following ministries: Fish Pond Food Pantry, 7 Churches Backpack Program (both of Jackson Center), Agape Ministries, Inc. (St. Marys, OH), Mercy Unlimited, Inc. (Wapakoneta, OH), and Our Daily Bread (Bellefontaine, OH). To sign up for a packing time, click on the link above.
Once the food packing is complete, join us under the BIG tent at 6:30 pm for worship lead by the New Horizons Choir, City of Bright and speaker, Rory Nicol former Ohio State Buckeye!
Thursday, May 28th features Karaoke / Trivia night under the BIG tent! The JCFD Bratwurst Stand and Beer Sales will take place as well.
Friday, May 29th events kick off at 5:00 pm with Sno-Cones & Donuts (Cub Scouts Pack 90), Bingo (8th Grade DC Trip), JCFD Bratwurst Stand, Beer Sales and Mechanical Rides. There will be an America 250: Armstrong & Flight presentation for K-6 in the Firehouse at 6:00 pm, and the Double Elimination Pickleball tournament begins. Things start to heat up at 8:00 pm with entertainment featuring "My Cousin Eddie". Then beginning at 9:30 pm, things will be on FIRE as you watch the Fireworks show!
Saturday, May 30th, is a BIG day! Events kick off at 7:00 am with Sno-Cones & Donuts (Cub Scouts Pack 90). Then at 8:30 the 1-Mile Fun Run begins followed by the Tiger Trot 5K Race at 9:00 am. The Pickleball tournament also starts up at 9:00 am as well. Around 10:00 am you can visit the Bake Sale in front of the JC Pro Hardware (American Club), the JC Methodist Food Stand opens at 10:30 am with the JCFD Bratwurst Stand and Beer Sales beginning at 11:00 am. The Dodge Ball Tournament (Davis Street) begins at 11:00 am as well with age groups 12 & Under, 13-17, and 18-UP! At 1:00 pm the Cornhole Tournament begins under the BIG tent; and if you don't want to play cornhole, you can jump on the shuttle for a Plastipak tour! At 2:00 pm you can try your luck at Dog Chip Bingo and if that doesn't work out, regular Bingo starts at 4:00 pm. After you have spent all that time out in the sun, you can cool off at 6:00 pm in the Beer Garden and do a little gambling with Showdown and the Wheel in the BIG tent. Then things really kick off in the BIG tent at 8:00 pm with music by "Big Bad Stache".
Sunday, May 31st is the wrap-up of our weekend! We start off with the Community Worship Service at 10:30 a.m. under the BIG Tent. The JC Methodist Food Stand opens at 10:30 am followed by the JCFD Bratwurst Stand at 11:00 am. Beer Sales begin at noon. The Community Days Parade begins at 2:00 pm, make sure you have your spot saved! The Mechanical Rides will start at 3:00 pm and then at 3:30 pm, JC's Best Actors / Comedians / Singers will entertain you under the BIG Tent! After you have been thoroughly entertained, stick around to see if you won anything at the Raffle Drawing!

Pre-Sale Wristbands
Pre-sale wristbands are now on sale for the Community Days Festival. Pre-sale wristbands will be sold beginning May 1st through May 29th at the Village Office during business hours and Jackson Pharmacy until 6pm.
- The cost for a presale weekend wristband is $45 (cash or check only).
- Per day bands are still $25; HOWEVER, there is a $2 convenience fee per band and available at kiosks near the rides. Kiosks accept credit cards and exact cash (kiosk does not give change)
- There are no more individual ride ticket prices. They will be ‘credits’ and they are still working on credit structure. Individual ride credits available at kiosks - TBA
Ride Schedule:
- Friday 5:00 p.m. to Close
- Saturday 12:00 p.m. to Close
- Sunday 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Raffle Tickets
Raffle tickets are available from most of the local businesses and at the festival starting May 1st. Over $5,000 in prizes!! Tickets are 6 tickets for $5. The raffle is sponsored by the Jackson Center Area Greater Growth Association. For a list of the raffle items and sponsors, please click on the link below.
Each year, groups that are participating in the event must sell $100 in raffle tickets which is their fee for participating in the event. After they sell $100, they get to keep half of what they sell thereafter. Therefore, all of the money that is collected stays in the community!
Jackson Center Area Growth Association sponsors college scholarships for local high school seniors, as well as many other school and community events, promotes the growth and development of the commercial, industrial, civic, residential and general interest of the Jackson Center area. Proceeds from Community Days helps to sponsor these projects.
